Nearly 40M Americans have Chronic Kidney Disease and Medicare alone spends over $130B on CKD management every year. In the past few years medical associations and industry stakeholders have recognized the high burden associated with CKD and have developed new guidelines and interventions to better manage CKD and attempt to reduce costs associated with this condition. In this presentation, Quest Diagnostics will share important updates to medical and quality guidelines related to CKD management and the implications these have to providers as well as a few solutions that Quest has launched to help providers address CKD in their patients.
