Coronavirus Update

* Last updated April 2, 2020

America’s Physician Groups (APG) is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the United States. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the immediate risk of being exposed to this virus is still low for most Americans, but as the outbreak expands, that risk will increase.  Cases of COVID-19 and instances of community spread are being reported in a growing number of states.

Below, please find additional information and resources regarding COVID-19 and its impact on the APG community.  Please visit the CDC’s COVID-19 website and/or your state’s department of health website for more information.

CANCELED:  APG Annual Conference 2020

A Note from Don Crane, APG President and CEO:

As the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be felt across our nation, the health, safety, and well-being of the APG community are our highest priorities.  Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Annual Conference 2020, May 28-30 in San Diego.

To those of you who have already registered, thank you for your support.  You can click here for more information on how to receive a refund for your registration fees.

Our way of living has changed dramatically in just a few short weeks.  But here is what hasn’t changed—our members’ continued commitment to providing care to the patients and communities they serve, no matter what the circumstances may be.

APG remains steadfast in our promise to our members and the value-based care community.  We will continue to advocate for your organization and provide you with the resources you need as you face new challenges brought about by COVID-19.

I couldn’t be prouder to be part of an organization whose members are serving on the front lines of this healthcare crisis.  Working together, we will answer this threat to the health of America…and beyond.  And we will come out stronger for it.
