Education

Knowledge Is Power

APG provides a number of educational events throughout the year that offer members an opportunity to exchange information, share best practices, and learn from experts in the field. Our conferences, webinars, and other meetings address a variety of topical issues that arise in the ever-changing health care landscape. Additionally, APG members have access to speakers on a variety of timely topics, some presented by our members in our coalition, committee, and regional meetings. Finally, we have an online resource library for members-only access.

APG Compensation and Benefits Survey

Call for Participation in 2021 HR Compensation Surveys

APG encourages its members to participate in the 2021 APG Annual Compensation Surveys. APG, with the help of Gallagher, a leading compensation consulting firm, conducts annual surveys that collect, analyze, and report highly detailed information on salaries and incentives, pay structures/ranges, and special pay practices for physicians, healthcare executives, and staff. APG members can use the survey results to stay current and competitive on salaries and benefits and compare compensation to other organizations.

There are two separate surveys, and both are open to APG members and non-member physician organizations. Only those who participate in the survey are eligible to receive a report with a comprehensive analysis of the results.

The Physician Compensation & Production Survey includes Primary Care and Specialty data. This survey is open now and closes May 21, 2021.

The Executive & Staff Compensation Survey covers 60-plus staff positions (mostly clinical), including more than 15 leadership and C-suite positions. Participation in the survey opens February 2 and closes May 14, 2021.

Results from both surveys will be published on August 6, 2021.

Contact Lura Hawkins (lhawkins@apg.org), APG Vice President of Member Services for more information on participating in the survey.
