Anu Murthy is the Director of Federal Affairs for America’s Physician Groups (APG). Ms. Murthy joined APG in 2019 after holding leadership roles in several integrated health systems including Mission Health, South Coast Health System, Tufts, and CaroMont Health. Prior to entering the hospital administration field, Anu practiced as a healthcare attorney in North Carolina for 15 years.
Anu received her law degree from the Boston University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. After law school, she completed a federal clerkship with the Hon. Chief Judge Richard L. Voorhees in the Western District of North Carolina.
Anu lives in Washington, DC where, coincidentally, her two grown sons also reside. She is an avid traveler, cookbook collector, dabbling fiction writer, and can be found hiking along or kayaking in the Potomac River most evenings.
