David Joyner, chief executive officer of Hill Physicians Medical Group, one of California’s largest independent practice associations with more than 6,000 providers and annual revenues of more than $1.2 billion.
After serving as Hill Physicians’ chief operating officer for two years, David was appointed as CEO in 2015.
Prior to joining Hill Physicians Medical Group, he held numerous senior executive-level positions over a period of 14 years at Blue Shield of California. Before Blue Shield of California, he served as president of Vivra Women’s Health, a division of Vivra Specialty Partners and also held various positions at Bain and Company, the consulting firm.
Mr. Joyner serves on Canopy Health’s board of directors, the Integrated Healthcare Association’s executive committee and board of directors and the Western Health Advantage board of directors. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts degree in Chemistry from Oxford University.
