Donald Deep, MD

Dr. Don Deep is the Chief Executive Officer of Central Ohio Primary Care as of January 1, 2023.

He joined COPC in 1997 after finishing his Internal Medicine residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Deep started the COPC Hospitalist practice shortly after joining COPC and cared for patients at many hospitals around Columbus for 20+ years. The COPC Hospitalist practice has grown to over 90 physicians, 15 APPs, and 30+ nurses with innovative programs such as the 24/7/365 Inpatient Support Center, Emergency Department Care Coordination, and Accountable Care Units.

Dr. Deep served as the President of the Medical Staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital from 2014-2017. He moved into a Senior Medical Director role in COPC in 2019 overseeing programs such as the Same Day Center, Extensive Care Center, and Comprehensive Home and Palliative Care.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic Dr Deep oversaw the COPC COVID Vaccine roll out and community clinics as well as the implementation of COPC’s COVID therapeutic interventions.
