Jennifer J. Salopek serves as Vice President of Communications for America’s Physician Groups, where she works to advance the organization’s mission through image, brand, and broad awareness. Prior to joining APG, Jennifer served as Editor-in-Chief of Content Marketing and Thought Leadership at CVS Caremark, the pharmacy benefits management division of CVS Health. Responsibilities of that role included ensuring the editorial accuracy and integrity of such communication channels as the flagship website, Caremark for Business, and the company’s social media properties.
Jennifer gained significant health care policy and advocacy expertise in her 20 years as an independent consultant, during which she helped a diverse group of clients solve their most pressing communications challenges. Her clients included professional and trade associations, industry groups, major payers, and other key stakeholders; Jennifer brought this rich experience to shaping the national conversation around health care reform.
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Jennifer resides in Northern Virginia with her husband. They have two grown children and a black Lab named Nikki. Jennifer is very active in nonprofit organizations serving her local community.
