Katherine “Katie” Henry, JD, brings a collaborative leadership style and passion for advancing independent medicine to her role as chief executive officer. She recognizes that exceptional results come from strong relationships, continuous learning, and the ability to evolve with the needs of patients and the community. She believes that building environments where teams can do their best work on behalf of patients is the key to making a real, human impact.
With more than two decades of experience in health care, Henry has a proven track record of strategic growth and patient-centered management. In her former role as chief administrative officer at Austin Regional Clinic in Texas, she oversaw 13 capital projects and a nearly 50 percent increase in patients served. She is known for leading transformative change while fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and unwavering care.
Henry earned a juris doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law and previously practiced law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She currently serves on the executive committee of the American Medical Group Association, contributing to national conversations on improving health care value, reducing disparities, and enhancing clinician well-being.
Outside of work, Henry enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, two grown sons, and two exceptionally large goldendoodles. She and her family enjoy trying new foods, cooking together, and spending time outdoors.
