Northwest Permanente’s Chief Financial Officer Marilynn Weber has deep roots in the Kaiser Permanente system. She began her career working as a financial analyst with Kaiser Permanente, followed by seven years as KP Director of Finance. From there, she moved to Northwest Permanente (NWP), the medical group for which she served as a Sr. Regional Practice Director for 16 years. In 2011, she became NWP Sr. Director of Financial Services and in 2017 rose to the CFO and VP, Finance role.
Marilynn received her education in California. A graduate of Mills College, she also holds an MBA in finance from UC Berkeley and an MA in mathematics from UCLA. She places the patient and the Kaiser Permanente mission at the center of her work, connecting the numbers and “the math” to operations and, ultimately, to patients and KP members. She translates, articulates and teaches financial concepts to physicians and non-physicians alike.
