Dr. Mendu’s principal role at Mass General Brigham (MGB) and Harvard Medical School (HMS) is as a clinical expert, innovator, researcher and administrator in the field of population health, care delivery innovation and clinical operations. She serves as Chief Population Health Officer, Vice President of MGB. In this role, she is responsible for leading the Population Health Services Organization team and operations, partnering closely with systemwide clinical and administrative leaders to drive progress for the value-based care portfolio, with the goal of improving clinical outcomes, advancing quality and mitigating unnecessary costs. She also has an outpatient and inpatient clinical practice at Brigham and Women’s. She is actively engaged in clinical research, having published over 90 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and serves as Associate Professor of Medicine at HMS.
