Oraida Roman serves as the chief commercial officer at Aledade. In this role, she leads the company’s strategy for health plan partnerships, focusing on creating strong alignment among health plans, primary care organizations and Aledade to deliver better health care and improve affordability. Roman brings more than 25 years of experience in health care strategy and operations to her work advancing innovative care delivery.
Leading Aledade’s portfolio of more than 200 value-based contracts, Roman oversees the entire lifecycle of health plan relationships, fostering collaborative, sustainable economic frameworks. Her areas of oversight include business development, contracting, performance management and the strategic expansion of multi-year arrangements across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and commercial lines of business.
Prior to joining Aledade, Roman served as a senior vice president at Humana, where she managed national contracting teams and led the company’s national value-based strategy. During her tenure, she achieved significant success in strengthening physician collaborations and improving the physician experience.
Before her time at Humana, Roman held leadership roles at DaVita Medical Group. She earned a Master of Health Administration from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
