As Chief Medicare Program Officer, Suzanne leads the strategic direction and is accountable for the results for all value-based care programs for Medicare beneficiaries at One Medical. Previously, she was the Chief Operating Officer at Iora Health, prior to their acquisition by One Medical in 2021, where she led the operating teams to deliver high quality clinical care and experience for patients, while also achieving Iora’s growth and performance objectives.
Suzanne also served as Senior Vice President at Davita Medical Group where she built a new division that deployed post-acute and home-based care team models for chronically ill patients, resulting in reductions in readmissions and length of stay, as well as improved quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. While at DaVita she also served as Vice President and Special Advisor where she led a multi-state region with over 60 dialysis centers.
For more than 2 decades, Suzanne held several executive leadership roles at HealthCare Partners. In the role of Vice President, Operations, she led medical offices and IPA networks serving over 200,000 patients in Southern California, successfully achieving the triple aim of improved quality and patient experience with overall cost of care reduction. She dramatically redesigned the ambulatory medical office to improve the patient experience while simultaneously creating greater efficiency and value for the organization. Suzanne also led the clinical and technology team that designed and implemented information solutions to bring point of care health reminders to independent physicians.
In both employed medical group models, as well as affiliated physician models, Suzanne has demonstrated an ability to create lasting solutions for the local medical ecosystem that have measurably improved both customer and organizational outcomes.
Suzanne received her Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
