Dr. Tanya Dansky is an experienced healthcare executive committed to quality and innovation. She joined MemorialCare Medical Foundation as the Senior Medical Director for MemorialCare Medical Group in 2020. She has over 20 years of clinical and physician leadership experience encompassing medical group, hospital, health plan and integrated care delivery environments. After receiving her medical degree from USC, Dr. Dansky completed pediatric residency at UCSD. Subsequently, she practiced as a pediatric hospitalist with Children’s Specialists of San Diego while gradually transitioning to multiple leadership responsibilities including San Diego Hospice Children’s Program and Medical Director with Children’s Physicians Medical Group. In 2010, she completed the California Health Care Foundation Clinical Leadership Fellowship and took on the CEO role for the CPMG IPA until 2014. During that time, Dr. Dansky served on the CAPG Board. Her next health plan roles included Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Columbia United Providers in Vancouver, WA, and Chief Medical Officer for Anthem Washington (Medicaid); however after 3 years in the Pacific Northwest, she returned to California to work with Blue Shield. In the role of Chief Medical Officer of Blue Shield Promise, Dr. Dansky joined the executive leadership team working to integrate Care1st, leading a team of 500 to serve 500,000 Medi-Cal, Medicare and Cal MediConnect members. Dr. Dansky lives in Fountain Valley with her family and enjoys spending her free time outdoors in the beautiful Southern California weather.
