Education

Knowledge Is Power

America’s Physician Groups provides a number of educational events throughout the year. These seminars, meetings, and webinars offer members an opportunity to exchange information, share best practices, and hear from experts in the field. Our workshops, often developed at the suggestion of members, address a variety of issues that arise in the ever-changing healthcare landscape. Additionally, APG members have access to speakers, lectures, and workshops on a variety of timely topics, some presented by our member committees and regional meetings, covering the entire country. Finally, we have a comprehensive online learning resource library for members-only access 24/7.

APG Compensation and Benefits Survey

Annual member survey reporting on healthcare employee compensation and benefits.

America’s Physician Groups has engaged GE Healthcare Partners and Gallagher Integrated Healthcare Strategies, leading compensation and benefits consulting firms, to complete an annual member survey that collects, analyzes, and reports highly detailed information on salaries and incentives, pay structures/ranges, and special pay practices (e.g., differentials) for healthcare executives and physicians. Participating member organizations will receive a copy of the full report.

Previously, the APG Compensation and Benefits Survey has included 50 organizations, 17,000 employees in 67 staff positions, more than 200 executives in 11 positions, and 1,700 physicians in 19 specialties. All data are presented for the full sample and for a number of subsets, including geographic region, participant revenue, number of employees/physicians, and organization type (IPA, MSO, medical groups, medical group/IPA). In addition, the survey provides organizational benchmarking data on a number of key productivity/performance metrics.

Please contact Annette Sánchez if your organization would like to take part in the survey.

Resources

We have designed and developed an easy-to-use learning resource library for members only. This way, you can perform a search for your topic and easily locate all relevant APG resources. We hope this educational tool will prove to be highly invaluable to our members!
